Keyed Entryは同コースのGotham Sをクビ差で落としました。勝ったのは伏兵Like Nowでここには出走してきません。ということで、実績から順当に一番人気に推される見込み。Hutcheson SではGulfstream Parkの7.5Fでレコード勝ちというスピード馬です。
いまいち一線級とはいえないメンバーかな。

水の浮いたドロドロの馬場だけにどこまでアテになる結果かというのは問題だが、逃げたKeyed Entryを外から追走したBob and Johnが直線でなんとか競り落として1着。とは言え最後は両馬とも脚が上がっているという状況で、最後方待機から飛んできたJazilの急襲を受けてKeyed Entryは3着でした。
Kentucky Derbyに向けての最終プレップとしてはちょっとレースコンディションに問題があるという気はするのですが…
